supportingcastCanadian punk rockers Propagandhi bring us a new album via Smallman Records. The band has been incorporating more and more metal into their songs sense “Today’s Empires, Tomorrow’s Ashes” and this album is no exception. At this rate if they keep it up we may be in store for a full metal album, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. But at this point we’re a ways off from that, we’ve got the angry well written punk rock songs we’ve become accustomed to from the band with some of their best musical backing dropped in. Eleven tracks (with one hidden) make up Supporting Castle, which makes one of the best Propagandhi albums to date. I’m not going to jerk you around and tell you this is better than “Today’s Empires..” but it is a damn good album.
