Clint Maul’s second album, third release seems to be a bit of a return. While his first album ‘Broken Record’ was really good, the band being on there seemed almost out-of-place but still really good, great stuff on that one. With ‘Know You Know’ Clint nails it perfectly. What we’ve got here is a goddamn good country album. In fact it’s the best country album of the year so far. I got this album, expecting it to be really good, because so far Clint Maul has set that standard, but I was quickly blown away at the quality of this. Top to bottom there isn’t one bad song on here. If you’re a fan of folk or country you should be looking into getting this album, stat.
