REVIEW: Teenage Bottlerocket: Ice Age / Walked In Line

Let me throw this out there first then you can all hate me, I don’t like Joy Division. They’ve just never done it for me, so when I found out that Teenage Bottlerocket was doing a 7″ covering two Joy Division songs, I wasn’t exactly excited. I actually passed up buying this record twice, then finally I thought ‘what the hell, maybe Teenage Bottlerocket can make something out of this, they’re a good band’. Well, I can’t say I’m crazy about these songs. They pretty much just sound like really weird songs recorded by Teenage Bottlerocket, which I guess is more or less what they are. If you’re a Joy Division and Teenage Bottlerocket fan you might be into this, as for me I pretty much own this to be a completest at this point.

1. Ice Age
2. Walked In Line
