Alright I know a lot of people liked this movie and all, but it was boring. The premise was pretty good, actually really good. The graphic novel was pretty decent. But the movie just draaaaaaaged. I don’t mind a slow paced movie, in fact I enjoy a few if they’re done well. But I don’t think this was meant to be slow pasted, instead it was just boring. The story of some vampires that are in Alaska and wait until they get a month of nightfall to strike on the town. Good idea and I had some high hopes for this flick too, which may have been part of the reason I didn’t like it, it just didn’t live up. David Slade the man that did Hard Candy, which is such a good movie, directing this. The movie had some quality players in it too, Josh Hartnett, Melissa George, Ben Foster. Oh well, too bad. Well I guess that’s all I’ve got on this one.
