I don’t use the word legendary a lot, but when talking about Sun Records that’s the first word that comes to mind. They’ve had their hand in just about every good artist from the 50’s and are still around pushing out the good stuff. Founded by Sam Phillips in 1952 he gave a lot of these now famous musicians their first break, without Sun Records there wouldn’t be a Elvis Presley or a Johnny Cash as we know them today.
