Name: No Breaks Records

Notable Releases/Bands: Full of Fancy, Jizz Kids, Los Di Maggios, New Creases, Prozacs, Sass Dragons, Teenage Gluesniffers, Jonesin’
No Breaks may not be the biggest label around but they’re one of the best places to get some great pop punk bands. They’ve put out great stuff like Full of Fancy, New Creases, Prozacs and Teenage Gluesniffers. It’s a pretty good lineup without all sounding the same, plus if you’ve already got their stuff the No Breaks Records site has one of the coolest distros around. Search through it, I dare you not to find something you’ve been looking for, they will have it. Plus it’s ran by a pretty rad dude, get out there and support No Breaks!

Music, Pop Punk, Reviews
music, pop punk, poppunk, Prozacs, punk, review, Reviews, Super White Garlic, Voodoo Doll, Waterslide Records
Voodoo Doll and Waterslide Records brings us a wonderful pop punk split, teaming up The Prozacs and Italy’s Super White Garlic. Personally I’ve been a big fan of the Prozacs for a while now, but I’d never even heard of Super White Garlic. So worse case I figured I’d get a split with at least one side of great material because The Prozacs have yet to disappointment me. What I got was an album with two sides of awesome pop punk goodness, not only are The Prozacs great but Super White Garlic kicks some ass too. Anyone who’s a fan of pop punk should have this on their ‘to buy asap’ list.
‘Mr. Sound Guy’ Starting it out with some fast snotty pop punk. This first song rules hard. But apparently the sound guy sucks.
‘Dreaming Again’ Shifting to a more bubblegum pop instead of the snotty punk for this one. But still another fucking great Prozacs song, and my favorite of theirs on here.
‘Art of Realization’ Sort of sounds like The Queers, if the Queers were a California punk band.
‘Calling’ What’s pop punk without songs where you’re getting ditched? Luckily this simple song about not answering the phone is another good one.
‘I Don’t Care Anymore’ Closing out the Prozacs song with an amped up fast song, my second favorite Prozacs song on here, even if they don’t care about anything.
‘Mental’ At first I thought this was another Prozacs song, but really it sounds like some awesome Steinways/Prozacs mix, fucking love this song. Super White Garlic’s best!
‘Thirty Age Psychopath’ You’re standard punk song about craziness, saying it’s standard isn’t bad though this song rules, and gets stuck in my head.
‘I’m Not’ This is my second favorite Super White Garlic song, it’s a little quicker than the others, super-duper catchy. This is actually a great song lyric wise too if you really give it a listen.
‘You’re A Clown’ Here’s Super White Garlic’s weakest song, but I still like it a lot, just a simple catchy song.
‘Fucking Way’ The closer for this split album, and a good choice to go out on. After hearing this I will for sure be checking out more of these guys because this song is fucking awesome, if they didn’t already have two more phenomenal songs on here this would be my favorite of Super White Garlic’s, but as it stands this gets the third slot.
1. Mr. Sound Guy
2. Dreaming Again
3. Art of Realization
5. I Don’t Care Anymore
Super White Garlic
7. Thirty Age Psychopath
8. I’m Not
9. You’re A Clown
10. Fucking Way
