Pittsburgh’s Young Giants are here with their 2011 demo, its five songs of songs that are somewhere between punk and garage rock. All five of these songs pretty quality, they’re well-constructed and played, they’ve all got a good length on them too hovering around the three minute mark for the most part. If there’s one complaint I have it’s that some of the songs are too formulaic but it’s only a demo so I’m not really going to dwell on that. If the punk garage hybrid that seems to be making a name for itself not a days is your thing you might want to check these guys out.
